I grew up in St. Louis… We had a deseg[regation] bussing program... About 35% of our school was black kids that came in from the city... It was like this since kindergarden… We were lucky enough to hang out at this house where you could smoke weed, cigarretes, and do whatever the fuck we wanted.. The older cats were 17, we were about 13... My mom worked at my school and the first day of high school she told me the only thing I couldn't do was hang out there…  We all thought we were thugs with Compton hats and shit… We called our crew the "CMC".  The "Clear Meadow Crew"…  I thought every school in the country was like this until I moved to NYC and I was like wow... Nope…  We really caused alot of trouble and I am happy we're all still alive... These were 10 songs that never left the car…
