Rescued From The Fire: Eric Wareheim
An ongoing series in which we ask artists the record they’d risk life and limb to save from a burning inferno
This week, we are talk to the comedian Eric Wareheim, of Adult Swim's Tim & Eric Awesome Show, Great Job! In addition to his Adult Swim endeavors, Eric also occassionaly can be found directing music videos for the likes of Major Lazer and Academy alum Flying Lotus. However, when it comes to music, he selfishly decides to talk about his own band.

Eric Wareheim and His Band, Elements of Need 7" (feat. Eric's sister)
To find the universal elements enough; to find the air and the water exhilarating; to be refreshed by a morning walk or an evening saunter... to be thrilled by the stars at night; to be elated over a bird's nest or a wildflower in spring - these are some of the rewards of the simple life. ~John Burroughs
Hmmm... If I had to rescue one record from my collection in case my house was burning, I would rescue a 7 inch called "Elements of Need." It's one of my first bands and we saved every penny we all had to record that music. We stayed up all night one night at Kinko's making covers. It's very precious to me. AND my sister played bass on it. She rules. Until she met Hope and started getting into ganj. Then she stopped wanting to play live music. And I only care about myself and my own music anyway.
