Sounds Like is a series of mini-documentaries presented by Red Bull Music Academy and AKG showcasing a group of forward-thinking artists and their unique approaches to music creation and production.
Limitation as opportunity: LA-based beatmaker and Red Bull Music Academy grad TOKiMONSTA has perfected the art of using the confines of her bedroom studio in her favour. What started out as a necessity - having limited tools to craft her sample-based music - has now become her virtue. In this episode we see a collaboration with MNDR’s Amanda Warner taking shape, catalysed through online interaction and materialised in real life.
