From December 1 through December 20, Red Bull released exclusive tracks from artists that have played an integral role in one of Red Bull’s various music initiatives and projects throughout this year. As part of the 20 Before 15 series, plenty of Academy-related acts participated. Whether it was recent Academy alumni like Mumdance and Ossie or longtime Academy friends like Mala and TOKiMONSTA, there was something for everyone. And, of course, there was something that everyone seemed to like: The return of D’Angelo, who premiered the first song of his stunning, long-awaited album Black Messiah.
