This past week, the RBMA UK Tour hit the UK capital, with club nights, shows, lectures, workshops, live radio broadcasts and special events from some of music’s most eminent emissaries. Peppered with collaborations between local heroes, institutions and labels, alongside a roster of world-class heavyweights, the programme featured a lecture with Harlem’s vanguard MC A$AP Rocky; a tropical roller disco featuring JME, Skepta, Plastician, Flowdan and many more; a cross-generational celebration with David Rodigan’s Rebel Sound; a ArcelorMittal Orbit takeover by some of the capital’s most iconic pirate radio stations; an in-depth workshop by bass alchemist Julio Bashmore; and much more.
