Red Bull Music Academy Festival New York returns for its fourth consecutive year, bringing with it a legacy of acclaimed original programming spanning New York City boroughs and the music genres found throughout them. #RBMANYC will feature live performances, club nights, lectures and workshops at some of the city’s most unique venues, kicking off April 29.

The festival explores and celebrates the city’s rich cultural heritage while spotlighting the modern music landscape, and this year’s programming continues to push that forward.

This year’s festival lineup includes the world premiere of Anohni’s live show for her new Hopelessness album, Pharoah Sanders and Kamasi Washington playing a night of spiritual jazz, Dizzee Rascal performing his genre-defining grime album, Boy In Da Corner, extreme vocalist Diamanda Galás returning to NYC, indie luminaries playing some of Glenn Branca’s roaring symphonies, Louie Vega and Jellybean Benitez celebrating the much-loved ‘80s genre Freestyle, Latin music legend Eddie Palmieri revisiting his 1971 landmark LP, Harlem River Drive, global-minded collectives NON and N.A.A.F.I joining forces — and much more.

To buy tickets and see the full list of events, head to the official Red Bull Music Academy Festival New York website.

In addition to the events, #RBMANYC will deliver original content throughout the festival exploring the city’s soundscape, as well as presenting a month’s worth of NYC-focused RBMA Radio programming. Make sure you keep an eye on RBMA Daily and RBMA Radio in the upcoming weeks.
