Atlanta Mixtape Gods Trading Cards

Atlanta’s mixtape DJs are towering, larger-than-life figures, bringing you the freshest hip-hop. The gods of Ancient Greece are exactly the same except for the freshest hip-hop part (as far as we know). To celebrate our Atlanta Mixtape Gods party, we imagined some of Atlanta’s most celebrated DJs as Greek gods. The illustrations are by Arturo Torres, the pen behind The Rap Year Book, and the text is by Paul A. Thompson, with the DJ/god connection stemming from names, reputations or something even more dubious.
